Biographical Summary
Jen Giddings is an associate attorney at Kuykendall & Associates. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of California Hastings College of Law in San Francisco after studying international politics at New York University.
During law school, Jen worked for the California Appellate Project providing interim legal and investigative support to unrepresented condemned inmates in California. Directly after law school, she moved to The Hague where she clerked for Appeals Judge Liu Daqun at the International Criminal Tribunals for the Former Yugoslavia and Rwanda. Later she moved to Sierra Leone to help draft the Judgment against the Civil Defense Forces at the Special Court for Sierra Leone.
Jen has obtained her Advanced Masters Degree in International Criminal Law from the University of Leiden in The Netherlands, and written a Master's thesis on the concurrent jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court and the countries that have ratified its treaty. Directly before coming to Kuykendall & Associates, Jen worked at the Center on Race, Poverty & the Environment, a non-profit organization that provides legal and technical assistance to grassroots groups fighting the placement of pollution-causing industry in low-income communities and communities of color in California's San Joaquin Valley.
Jennifer also serves as an attorney for the Mexican Capital Legal Assistance Program and is certified to practice in both Arizona and California.
